Sadie Spikes
My name is Sadie Spikes, artist, writer, maker, maverick, certified kaizen-muse creativity coach and certified chakra dance teacher.
About
I personally do not want to live a half-life! A minimised or creatively stifled fearful life – that has somehow or seemingly been dictated by someone else’s agenda or idea about how I should best conduct myself. I want to live a life of colour and adventure, gratitude and appreciation with healthy habits and a mindful awareness. I want to learn to be the best, happiest, creative version of Myself.
To do this I do have to put in the work by learning to play, letting go of restrictions, finding self-compassion…and little by little turn the boat of my learnt beliefs around and without pressure to put into practice what I preach.
I split my time between my Art practice, my coaching practice, 3 old vintage show-vans; a husband, a daughter, a stepson, a cat, and a large unruly neuro-divergent family.
If you are looking for a cheerleader for your creativity
A coach and mentor with a vast amount of life experience and a deep understanding of derailing habits, alongside knowledge and knowhow of the pitfalls of the creative practice, then I would love to use what I have learnt along the way to help you fire up your life.
Sadie - Fine Art in Context BA(hons),

Certified Chakra Dance Teacher.
I have felt lost and overwhelmed along my creative journey…
I’ve struggled with imposter syndrome, serious procrastination, habits and addictions that didn’t serve me well, that kept me spinning in a loop of self-sabotage. I have listened to the voices of my inner critics cutting me down, not realised the crippling nature of my own high expectations and perfectionism, which left me numb to any of my successes.
I began seeking practical tools that compliment the creative non-linear temperament, that are simple, realistic, don’t apply pressure, are fun and compassionate, that help with this disconnect…Eventually, after a very long search and many blind alleys, I found Kaizen-Muse Creativity Coaching.
It was one of those shining, trumpet blowing, singing choir of angels moments, and changed my life, I’m now a qualified coach helping people to connect with their creative calling.
A rich lifetime of experience as a successful practicing artist, lecturer, entrepreneur, and mother has brought me to a place where i am able to offer my expertise and guidance to other creatives.
Sometimes we just need someone to help us, to hold our hand, to be empathetic, someone who understands, who has been there, who won’t push, who will stand in our corner and encourage. A guardian for our creative soul, a mentor for our ideas, a person to pick us up when we fall, without judgment, without pressure, with a deep listening ear to guide us back to us. I know I do…
“Sadie has a gift of deep listening and then giving intuitively brilliant responses. Her own creative approach to the world is authentic, eccentric, beautiful, and frees all who see it. Don’t miss out on the experience of Ms. Spikes in whatever she offers.”
